Likewise. I used to have quite a few until the 'big' move a couple of years ago.Not to toot ones own trumpet, but I guess I must be near the middle. I literally haven't seen a single goldmine plot in probably 2 years.

'You knew it was coming' is a phrase that implies fait accompli. Rather surprising actually that we have all managed to spin 21 pages of discussion. You knew it was coming is the title of this thread.
Why do you think this is?
Gotta keep this wonderful thread going…Even these seven discussion points have underlying causes and pressures. Maybe other Forum members (are there many left?) have other ideas that we could kick down the road.
- Insufficient active players.
- Players quitting (see #1)
- Too many small fellowships. (e.g. AMs desperately clinging to power, instead of dissolving an unproductive FS).
- Large number of successful fellowships. Once a player finds a FS that's a good fit they tend to stay, and not look elsewhere. Whereas if a player is looking to leave a good FS, then they are likely to be problematic, unless they have a valid reason.
- Fewer new players joining the game would cause a shortage of new applicants. (Same impact as #1)
- Unrealistic expectations of players. Some applicants I've had were all about 'what can you do for me', instead of 'how can we work together'.
- Real Life (RL) pressures. For example, with less time available there is less reason to join an active FS. (see #1)
Still hereare there many left
Not necessarily @Jake65. Just don't join some manically obsessed FS with a despotic Archmage.does this mean I have to wake up at 3am to perform some task
Certainly enough to field a team. The interchange bench may be a bit short-handed though.Huh she thinks there's only one, despite evidence of half a dozen regulars, half a dozen others, and an equal number of lurkers.
