I know of one player who has a small specialist 'project City' which (in the last FA Format, although the new format has barely changed the maths) could make
over 4,000 Bracelets per FA. OK, this relies upon (a) much knowledge, (b) much patience in building the City, and (c) an unusual build including some T1-heavy Sets/Evolving Buildings and a Storm Phoenix, plus using MM Enchantments saved up over time - but even so, it really is quite nonsensical that my own somewhat (but not very) Combat-focused City, in Ch.13 Amuni, with +1 Sentient T1 and +1 standard T1 Manus at full Chapter level built
only for the current FA (so I'm running six in total),
and using MMs (ETC-enhanced to +75% efficiency), and even using a Storm Phoenix myself, too, as well as 1 x T1-heavy Pilgrim's Manor Set at Chapter level... my own City, with boosts not dissimilar to the small City concerned, can produce at best
1½ Bracelets per day - even though I am ALSO collecting 4-5 x 3-hour productions per day. To be honest, what more can I do, short of using relatively rare Teleports to remove buildings I actually need to keep my base game, Tourney etc., going...?
While some do choose to do so, IMO we shouldn't
need to remove any of our strategically placed buildings, which are there because they have useful functionality outside of the FA (after all, the base game continues at the same time, as do all of its 'optional' add-ons), nor to expend randomly awarded and thus highly valued Teleports, which have multiple other uses, solely for FAs - nor yet use Time-Boosters and Resources, which have many uses, only to delete and replace other buildings in order to make way for excess T1 Manus which are useful ONLY during the FA.
Likewise, I can produce only ~2 Coins Badges per day, too; I don't know that small City's Coins Badge capacity, but I'd imagine it's much higher!
But : I finished the previous FA, and will finish this one, too, with 100+ unused Guards Badges, with no Unit production boosts of any kind - and despite the alteration of Wonders Badges to require 20 KP per Badge, I usually have 40+ of those to spare, too... even after using at least some of both of these Badge types during the Map and/or Pit Stages. If I hoarded them, I'd end up with around twice as many of both Badge types left over.
Inno often talks about 'balance'. Sitting here, watching most other Badges mount up, while my FS and I wait for hours at a time for nothing but Coins and Bracelets to come in, doesn't seem very balanced (or fun!) to me; and the alternative of keeping small Cities in a FS which frankly wouldn't suit them at any other time is hardly a useful alternative, in my view - well, unless one were callous enough to 'host' them only during FAs.
In short, the FA is very noticeably the most unbalanced part of the game, and yet the recent change to map_h appears only to have worsened this!

@magrat101. The map_h FA version is not only not an improvement, it's a missed opportunity to bring some REAL balance to FAs.
