As a parent of gamer children, they already have twigged that certain sites won't let them in without them lying about their age. My thought is that the owner of an online space/service sets the rules of that space. You agree to follow those rules when you sign up. This protects the people running the space.

As a fellow gamer (and community parent / camp mum), I'm more likely to keep an underage player in Fellowship, than kick/report them. This is because I know that other places online they are likely to be far less safe. I'm prepared to be patient and supportive, and hopefully protect other adult players from younguns too ; ) . I guess I choose an ethically Functionalist stance there (aiming for the best perceived outcome).

Not that I have encountered children on Elvenar; maybe the pace is a bit slow for them, and there's not enough action.

In a fruit bowl when you find a Sour Grape or a Cracked Nut they can be thrown away, The red exclamation(!) mark on the profile in Elvenar that lets you mute/block works just as well and the player is quickly forgotten about(verified). Worth remembering next time Shae-leigh if ever another one rolls into view :)
Yes should exists also a block/report function for push accounts and all the cheaters around Elvenar, ain´t it? Cause no matter how much you send a ticket to support those exactly same cheaters with push accounts remain around.

We already have a way to deal with these players and that is via Support.
However if a player is not breaking our rules or has their account/s restricted or even banned, that is ultimately a decision to be made by us at InnoGames.

Hmmm, I have never seen this. I would love to know where it exactly is and if it can be used on a fellow. This would save me a ton of grief - if anyone can help. I find no red exclaimation marks anywhere.

I totally agree with Inno's position with regard to age and the GDPR requirements. Unfortunately we live in a world of predators and litigation. No matter where you live in the world, cyberspace makes you liable across the globe for your words and actions and your physical 'jurisdiction' and laws can count for nothing.

Inno are being the responsible adult in the room and we should all applaud their decision with regard to the game.

The player then returns to their game/s to find that all Diamonds are spent, Ancient Wonders and special building have been deleted, or even every building that can be deleted has been and a ghost town is all that is left.
Obviously, don't break the rules and all that, but also..... These people need better friends!

I agree entirely. Unfortunately it has been proven repeatedly over the years; that so called friends in Fellowships, real life friends, partners and acquaintances playing - given the opportunity to wreck another persons game - they will.
Now I don't know if it is due to some perverse sense of humour that causes it, but whatever it is, it is as far from nice as you can get and devastates the trusting player who gave up their games security.

Do any of us really know the people in our Fellowships? Anyone can appear outwardly pleasant but behind closed doors and away from prying eyes the could be the most perverse, cruel person you have ever met. I fully support the rule that under 16 shouldnt be allowed in the game for the simple reason that although the ingame chat can be policed by the members, the ingame private messaging cant. Kids nowadays are exposed to enough that if we can protect them from some predator in the game thats a good thing. Obviously the kids are going to lie about their age and at the end of the day, young kids should have their online activity monitored by their parents.
