Tournament Archive points

How do the tournament archive points work? I understand they are added automatically at the end of the tournament but also that the archmage or mage can add them as well? How do they do this? Thanks

Any tournament points that are 'left over' at the end of the tournament are added to your archive collection to the maximum depending on the level of your archive. You can increase this maximum by spending your perky points here.
An archmage or mage can 'spend' these archived points to complete a tournament chest when there's a shortfall.

eg you finish a tournament with 5000/8000 for the following chest.
Next week you might be on 4000/8000 near the end of the tournament, your archmage or mage can then use 4000 of your 5000 archived points to get the next chest. Your 1000 balance then stays in storage for the next time you need them.

Just to add, the max perk pts you can store with that perk at level 10 is 500 - so any pts your fs gains above 1330 (which is what is required for gold) will be added to your perk pts stash, to to 500.
The green + on the ladder type thing that runs up the left hand side of the screen is where you can add the pts. Some fs use near to the end of the spire in order to get gold, some use as soon as tourney starts, but you should only do that (imo) if you're sure that you will get gold and therefore be able to build your perk pts back to 500.
