Answered Spells in a Shield?

Hi all , I just had a member tell me she has an item in the spells tab called Spells in a Shield and all it says is to use in research. Does anyone know what this might be and how to go about using it, as I'm at a complete loss.

Never heard of it I'm afraid. Does she call it that (as in: those are the words she used to describe it) or is that what it's actually called?
