Here is an idea to improve the game, scrap this perks BS, its becoming like a damn job on here instead of a game!!

Perks is really an automatic system to help you. Depending on the level you might have to wait some time for points to build up and then you use the perk, in tourney and spire ofc. All benefits

It's a job only if you let it become one.
You get XP with just your regular playing and eventually it helps to get rewarded for playing.

You are free to completely ignore the entire Perks system, just like you are free to ignore donating KPs to your teammates, doing any tournament or Spire, or giving out any Neighborly Help. But as @Monohr said, you automatically earn points towards perks if you do any of those things as part of normal game play, so they are essentially freebies. You have the right to reject the free dessert you've been given at anytime, but it's odd to proclaim no one else should have theirs though just because you don't want yours.
