Non-boosted goods manufacture research

We are encouraged to produce only boosted goods and trade for others, but we still have to do the research for upgrading manufactories for all three types of good in each tier. I accept that we need to research all three manufactories in each tier at the first basic level, it is the upgrade research that is frustrating. It would be lovely if we only had to research our boosted goods so we could use the KP elsewhere.

You will need the research of T1 for when you reach chapter 12, and who knows what boosts are in the pipeline for future chapters.
