In a way, this is all kind of funny.

A 1:4 trade a month ago transfers just as much goods as a 1:4 trade today.
A 1:1.5 trade a month ago transfers just as much goods as a 1:1.5 trade today.

If you preferred 1:4 trades a month ago, you can still offer and accept 1:4 trades today.
If you preferred 1:1.5 trades a month ago, you can still offer and accept 1:1.5 trades today.

Very true, you can still post 1:4 trades. The difference is that a month ago those trades would have shown as fair on the star rating and now they won't so anyone that uses the star rating system to choose trades will probably not even look at those 1:4 trades anymore.
