Hi, judging from the looks of things, I don't think a thread about a guild system (surprisingly) has been mentioned. I don't know if it is currently under development either so I thought I'd post here just in case it hasn't been discussed.
In my experience with many games, I believe some form of guild/clan/faction system would be highly beneficial. I have no doubt that this will give players further incentive to continue playing, due to more options to socialise with other players and more content in the game (perhaps including a tough fight for consenting guild members to challenge).
Just some examples of what could be included if a guild system would ever be incorporated:-
- Humans only guilds/elves only guilds/some form of crossover where humans and elves can join together (decision of the guild leader).
- As mentioned above, inclusion of missions, such as boss fights for members to participate in.
- Possibly, a guild decision on whether they're a friendly guild or a warring guild (each with different benefits of their own.) Warring guilds wouldn't be able to interfere aggressively with friendly guilds.
This is just scratching the surface on the never-ending ideas that could be implemented. But personally, I would love to see this included in the game as I'm sure many others would.
