Question How to use up stored Tournament Perk points...

This is all so confusing. We have 5000 points saved, and currently 290/7000 points on current chest. I clicked the + (am Archmage) and it says we have 5000/5000 saved - but the button to use them is greyed out. So how exactly are we meant to use up our saved points??

Do we have to wait until we are exactly 5000 points short of the next chest??

You can only use the points if you can reach a chest with them.
- You need almost 7k to the next chest, but you have only 5k stored.
- When you need 5k or less points to finish the chest, the button will be active. It will fill the bar exactly till the chest and leave the rest of the stored points still in the storage.
