I wonder why I can't use the city expansion gained through research. Maybe the problem is that I bought one city expansion with diamonds? Please help!

There are 3 types of Expansion:

• Premium Expansion: Can be placed through buying with diamonds.
• Research Expansion: Can be placed by researching.
• Province Expansion: Can be placed by completing the required amount of Provinces.

I am sure you know these as your city is experienced.
