Do I need more of my 3 main boosted goods factories, and do I need to sell off my sentient factories.

You're going to need sentient goods forever so I wouldn't recommend selling any factory; if you think you'll need fewer than you have now I'd suggest storing some instead. (The requirements are less brutal than in Ch 15 - I've mainly had one of each since finishing Ch 15 though I've taken one out of storage briefly at various times. But it depends how much you negotiate in the Spire).
I didn't notice an increase in requirement for standard goods so if you're doing ok for those there's no reason you should need more factories.
