Wood elves research, there is a forest trail used to connect settlement buildings, however I cannot find a forest trail in buildings, exactly where is it please?

The forest stream (your forest trail i think) which connects the settlement buildings can be found under the settlement tab in the buildings menu. It appears between the forest glade (portal) and the forest fabrication.
