Although the announcement for what's coming in 2018 says that the new Guest Race is expected "very soon" in 2018, on the basis that it hasn't yet been released on beta then "very soon" would seem to mean not until February and to me that really isn't "very soon"!

Apparently we're stuck with another crappy quest line. "Soon" means you need to wait 1 year between guest races.

I guess Innogames is trying to kill the game to make space for other IPs?
