Answered upgrading magic residence to constructs chapter?

I recently started the constructs chapter and finished the first technology of the chapter but can't upgrade my magic residences. Why is that?

@laranna You must unlock Evolved Residences first. It unlocks the upgrade option for both regular and magic residences.

I think they recently fixed it... read the last updates, something about magic residences not leveling up upon scout research as many chapters. It might be your situation.

That was changed for chapters 13 and 15 because residences come only it the middle of the tech tree, I think. Constructs is chapter 14 and residences is the 3rd tech you can unlock.
