This must be a bug as its asking me as part of the quests to produce a magic spell, and I dont have a magic academy.

$10 says this is "not a bug". If you want to do the contest, you have to build a MA. Then you can't delete it. Cunning!

The contest has the same mandatory quests for every player. You will need a magic academy to complete that specific quest. Thank You for bringing this up though I am sure there are other players who were thinking the same thing:)
