and I wonder if I no longer need the dwarves and

Hi Efi35,

After you have finished all the researches that needs granite and copper you can still use the granite and copper to upgrade your roads to the dwarven roads. You won't need granite or copper for anything other than that. Also please remember that once you sell your portal you will lose all your stored copper and granite.

I wouldn't risk doing that unless you are 100% sure you will no longer need those resources or don't mind rebuilding it.

sell everything else
