2. Click on the Main Hall before the "+coins" pop up appears

that additional goods tab is for your sentient goods.....which starts happening in chapter 12

I am in chapter 3 though...

Firstly, we would always ask you to clear the cache on your device as more often than not, this will resolve any issues.

If of course this issue persists after Cache Clear, please contact the Support Team explaining the steps you have already followed, and they will be happy to look into this further!!
