Black Friday; let's annoy our players!

REALLY?

Every damn time I come back to my cities' main screen, I get to see the very same pop-up I just clicked away 20 seconds ago. Guess what Inno, I clicked it away because I am NOT INTERESTED. Yet you keep rubbing your "offers" in my face, as if you can annoy me into buying your overpriced diamonds and crummy deals.

I seriously hope this is an oversight, and NOT a conscious marketing choice.

If you close something and then see it pop up again afterwards as if nothing had happened, that would indeed not be intended. We will look into that for sure. Our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing you.

Edit: If you're experiencing this, you can try to reload the game. It'll most likely resolve the problem. Again, apologies for this rather annoying bug.

Adding 120 kp to the top package without any real discount is not a good deal. I'd still not be interested if it were half price and 1200 kps. Way beyond the means of many . :(

So far not feeling the love Inno! These Black Friday "deals" are not really deals, just more of the same same. How about for 3 hrs offering something like half price stuff or 50% more gems instead of a paltry 10%?

Just saying...

FYI- love the game but making it pop up don't make it a deal!

Playing on PC, using latest version of Firefox and also had the same popup spring up on me 3 tmes so far... Nope, not interested... Don't like this tactic to get people to buy stuff, especially when different people are seeing different offers, mostly which are seriously not good value, especially when i've also played Forge of Empires and seen that the deals in that game are far better value.

I haven't looked at the price of diamonds for a while , but the last time I looked it cost £74.99 for 11000 diamonds. The Black Friday offer states that it offers 7534 plus 46% totalling 11000 for £74.99. Has the price risen recently or are Inno extracting the urine ? The only bonus is the 120 kps.

Well done Inno ; you've guaranteed that I will never spend another penny on this game , even if I won the lottery.  :p

Oh calm down people..it is not a charity, they don't work for free, it's a business...they are entitled to market in any way they like. The sooner everyone realises that they don't actually care a jot what the players think, what the players want, and it is their mortgages, kids food etc that depend on players buying diamonds and packs the better.
Yes, you can play the game for free if you want, but you can't moan at any marketing. There is enough to moan about in the slipshod way the game is now being developed but you have to remember it is a BUSINESS

Many businesses price themselves out of the market and go bust.:( Also many players that have the time to play this game are not in employment and cannot afford the expensive "offers". Five days worth of kps on the top purchase of diamonds as a Black Friday special offer is , to my mind , an insult.

And the same is happening with the winter event....Can't leave my city to do rounds without returning to it. I can see no way of preventing it from popping up. Annoying to say the least. o_O

Refreshing worked for me as I had the same and as you last time and again in this event.

It worries me that Inno seem so desperate for income. I know the feeling only too well. :( At least it's made me give up smoking. :)
Perhaps those that are funded by Inno could find some positive in giving something up to save funds. :D

That was so bad:(.
Seriously, you have to hire some smart marketers, or ask specialists to make good deals and earn more money.

agreed. Not only is it repetitive but it takes up most of the screen and pops up right into our faces. The deals don't inspire me to chip in even with five bucks.

And before the mod comes again to say "refresh", we also know about F5 button and the refresh option, telling us in bold "Refreshing" isn't going to solve either our problems or yours, and it also supposes that we, browser game players are so ignorant that we wouldn't try refreshing. Thanks. Thank you for your attention.
