Especially at Christmas time. I won't put in my Christmas wishes just yet. @Jake65 already thinks I'm avaricious. He may well be correct, although I'm not admitting to anything in writing.

As @Herodite said, we'll have to wait and see but I'm keeping my fingers crossed they stay true to tradition and that we get the usual 20% off on expansions on Cyber Monday
As for the new event, I wouldn't hold my breath. It's happen quite a few times before that we get big announcements at the beginning of the year but then: a) they change their mind and go with something else instead or b) we do get it but a lot later than announced or c) we do get the new feature on time but it's not at all what we hoped for (= it's rather disappointing).
However, if we are starting our Christmas wish lists, mine would be that we get the Spire merchant in the next month or 2. I'm really curious as what he'll have to offer and whether it will somewhat make up for the changes to the Spire prizes

When we were little we used to get a stick and a piece of coal for Christmas and we lived in a shoebox in the middle of the road... But we were happy.

i hope the spire master will allow us to exchange for goods we didnt won with some penalties like we need to give more, like if we give 2 supply spellmaker we get a gold one. Or that if we give the 2 10% portal profit thing we can exchange it for the 1 upgrade i always try to win.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd be guessing around zero. In any case, I've not heard any major complaints or grumbles from the moderators and community managers. I thought I'd been naughty once, but it turns out I was merely wayward.
