I got a "Monument of Ancient Knowledge" from the fall event. It yields 3 Knowledge pts per day + some culture. fine in a 2x2 package

It has a text saying it expire after 100 days. do that mean the whole building building disappear (so I can build something else) or just that it stops giving knowledge points?

That sounds like the Wishing Well then. The building gives you gift parcels for a certain amount of time then your bonus is used up. The building stays in your city with a culture value.

The Monument of Ancient Knowledge gives a 3 kp instant every 48 hours , not every day.
