Events like the Summer Solstice event on Beta.Noticed that there is a new tab in the inventory tab. Receive buildings from events? What kind of events?
Totally agree.I am livid! Thanks a bunch. I now have to stop everything I was doing and research all the Ancient Wonders that have been added to the game? A bunch of things I'm NOT going to build? This could be the last straw.
I don't paly on Beta, but I do read the forum. Here's the thread about the event. Not Beta here, boss.
The last event involving stuff most cannot complete are also not encouraging at all. Besides, what buildings do you get to place? Another level 1 building? Does it instant built maybe?

Well done, Inno... you've spent yet another 4 weeks doing nothing.
and I will review the game everywhere I can.

From the release notes for version 1.11:
We'll likely get version 1.10 in a couple of days, and then version 1.11 in a couple of weeks. I figured it was a good idea to give advance warning, for people who do not read the Beta forum.

ONE post does not suddenly and magically make it all right. How many people do not read the forum or every post?
The answer is; the majority.
From my map I can tell this game already has a high player turnover. Things like this will just increase that, as annoyance increases.
The replies to the notice weren't very positive either.
Dear all,
The Ancient Wonders technologies (and indeed the Tournament technology) were always intended to be a core part of the research tree. There are technological reasons why they are introduced as 'dead end' researches, with no researches following directly on from them. This is so that should there be a major problem, such that the research needs to be temporarily removed from the research tree, this is a far simpler procedure if the research is a 'dead end' one that does not have any subsequent researches depending upon it, as opposed to one that does have other researches following directly from it.

Most leaders of a fellowship read the forum and will pass on relevant information to their fellows - at least that is my in-game experience and also what I expect a good leader would and should do.
Reading the forum, even occasionally e.g. once a week, really gives any player a better overview of current and possible future issues![]()
