Upcoming Spire Improvements

Oh for the good old days when this game was just fun to play and as posted above, you did not have to reach for paracetamol or read through a how to play manual.
Me thinks that I and most of my team will just race to the top and try to get a gold medal and a few diamonds. Prizes that come along the way are so random that some weeks you get nothing of any real value. Its just luck of the draw.

I may have misunderstood, but it seems to me that you will loose points for being successful under the new Spire rules. This seems an odd way to go about an improvement!

I've just been rereading the information on the improvements and I noticed that the amount of currency won by negotiators depends on whether they break their streak rarely, often or always. Apparently I can still win currency if I break my streak but I have no idea how this is calculated. Do any of the mods have this information?

That's normally my impression. Feeding Glido gives me extra Ascended Goods. And sometimes the Spell Fragments are a welcome prize. I miss the time instants and CCs. And as for Dwarven Armorers, well .... :)

Whilst I do not understand what effect these changes have had, my general impression is that they are favourable to me.
I had a DA, MMM & a UUU still in play so feed Glido and Fire Phoenix and went straight to the top, auto fighting all the way. Yes even, by using Banshee's. the top Chest which in the past I have negotiated. I think my actual troop loses were a lot less then normal.
Whilst no DA, I did receive some very useful RR's (10) and Sapphires (60) along with a lot of speed-ups, so cannot complain.

First impressions of the new system from my Beta account. Totally unfair to those who negotiate.

If I have a fighting setup I can Fire Phoenix, Twilight Phoenix, DA, MMM, UUU, LM, LR and HM it to death before I start and then use Health boosters along the way and never loose a fight.

If I negotiate I can build up a streak of 4 (or more?) wins and then 1 failed Negotiation means I loose the whole streak. I can keep trying but at 25 diamonds a go this will soon get prohibitively expensive. Sure I can still play said Spire but the potential rewards from Harold will always be a pipe-dream (I mean, 100K for and item that expires!) and I will just 'window shop' each week. ☹️

I am still waiting to hear what difference breaking my streak rarely, often or always has on the amount of currency I win. Also, are these breaks counted at each level or for the complete spire? How many breaks constitute rarely and often?

Well we don't know yet. Some players say they can 'see' their streak but I can't.
...I think, they meant that...

...streak 1 = +50 %, streak 2 = +100 %, streak 3 = +150 % and streak 4 (max.) = +200 % - in stage 2 of the spire you start with 0 again, but the basic Reward then is 40 (and 60 in stage 3) - the radiant stones for battles doubles too (38 stones instead of 19 with a SBS of 800)

I don't understand why RRs are now so difficult to collect when they have become more necessary for AWs etc. I resort to having to buy them when they become available, or buy buildings that create them.

Currently trialing the new Spire feature - Harold's Shop in Beta. You can spend 5,000 Radiant Stones and get 5 RR's in return. You can do this a maximum of 3 times per Spire rotation, which is every 6 weeks.

After Week 1 and beating the 2nd Boss I have accrued 1,323 Radiant Stones. So a 6 week cycle should net me 7,938 RS, but due to my Fighting performance being below par, my rewards for next week have been 'downgraded' slightly. I might still make the 5K by Week 6 so watch this space.

My alternative is to 'trade/swap' some other components (Eldian Sapphires, Broken Shards, Spectral Stones) with Harold for additional RS. Once you see Harold's setup it will all become clear.

But getting back to the main point, you are absolutely right. The best way to obtain extra RR's now seems to be lots of Tournament chests but you have to get your FS to engage otherwise it's a few players going crazy each week just to earn a few extra RR's.

Wow! 6 weeks to get enough stones to trade for 5 RRs! I love this game but it is getting redicuous.

Argh! Another reason why Negotiating the Spire sucks. In Beta I just had a streak of 5 going and had to abandon it because I ran out of Coins. With Fighting you don't have to worry about this kind of thing. Having to keep popping in and out to double check your Coins, Supplies and maybe certain Goods is really not something you should have to worry about. It would be helpful if we could see this tiny piece of crucial information within the Spire window.

If you're on browser you should be able to hover your mouse over each resource type to see how much you have. On mobile you can't do that, but I think (if I recall correctly) that you always see coins and supplies totals at the top of mobile.

I can't see coins and supplies at the top when I am using the mobile version of Elvenar and I am in the Spire.
