Chapter 23 MH is not tall enough for me now. I've stuck the hideous monstrosity out at the extreme western frontier of my city. Ironically the benefits of free mana and reduced decay make it a useful building.That's why I try to hide mine behind the Main Hall.

I think that the Barracks at level 44 is even worse! I'm not too keen on Simia Sapiens either.

Oh chapter 22? I am soon going to be entering that chapter and there will be quite a few building levels that I will refuse to take until I can upgrade straight past them. The barracks is one. It is a proper travesty. Great as the art department is, I wish that they would keep in mind that we are building cities. I don't want a big pile of sticks in my city.
Anyway, this will be the first time I have taken this stance with upgrades since the horrors of the Orcs & Goblins chapter.

There are two good things about the Ch.22 Barracks:
1). The Ch.22 upgrade increases the training of troops;
2). It is so ugly that you will be motivated to complete the Ch.23 upgrade.

In the first stage it's 10s, 3hrs, 7hrs. I think the end of the stage is 9hrs.I hope the OP will not mind me asking this here?
Can anyone tell me the wait times of the gates in the Spire please? Usually in such a rush to be Queen of the Spire never think to look - whoosh!
In the second stage they're 7hrs then the end of the stage must be 12 hours.
In stage 3 I think they're 9hrs.
I'm really winging this. I must go do the spire and see if I'm making it up.
