Release Notes



Dear Humans and Elves,

On Tuesday, 22nd January, we are planning to release version 1.71 on our International worlds. Below you can find all the changes coming with the update!


Improvements



  • The tooltip on Relics in the cost of Enchantments in the Magic Academy's Produce tab will now show you how many of a Relic you have. The same change has also been applied to all unit-producing buildings (Barracks, Training Grounds, and Mercenary Camp).
  • To make the game's performance better, we're slightly adjusting the different quality levels and background graphics used on each of these levels for our HTML5 client. The most notable change is that Ancient Wonders' visual representation in the city background are no longer shown on Medium city graphics quality, but only on High quality.
  • Challenges have become more challenging! In the future, they appear without further notice. Keep your eyes peeled, don't miss a single challenge, and gain great rewards while playing!

Bug Fixes



As with every update, we've resolved a number of bugs, among which:

  • Ancient Wonders - Producing Ancient Wonders no longer have their production progress reset when a Rune is inserted.
  • City - If a Wishing Well is affected by a Spell, it now reflects the effect in its tooltip correctly.
  • Inventory - Taught the counters of available Enchantments while casting some math, because they were sometimes off by 1.
  • Spells - Removed a confusing "Craft Spells" effect that was shown in the Combining Catalyst's tooltip, but didn't actually mean or do anything.
  • HTML5 - Progress bars in several places of the game spontaneously started changing colors, which we've now stopped from happening.

Mobile



Note: the app version of the update is released separately from the browser version.

  • It's now possible for everyone to visit your neighbors! Have a look at what your neighbors' cities look like!
  • We've adjusted the order of offers in the Wholesaler to be more in line with the rest of the game.
  • City - The Citizens walking around now depend on the progress of the player you're visiting, no longer on your own progress.
  • City - It is no longer possible to place some of the Guest Race-specific streets on top of normal streets.
  • Fellowships - Attempting to join a new Fellowship when you are still on a cooldown could result in the Fellowship window not loading properly.
  • Fellowship Adventures - Fixed a slightly broken animation to make it smoother.
  • Inventory - Resolved an error that made it impossible to place streets from the inventory.
  • Magic Academy - Enchantment creation speed changes are now listed in the Magic Academy's upgrade tab.
