Release Notes


Dear Humans and Elves,

We hope that all of you have had a great start into the new year! Now that all the indoor decorated trees are slowly going away again, and all the fireworks have been stared at, we'll pick up the Elvenar updates again. We start the year with an update, scheduled on January 9th, that'll bring you some small changes and improvements for the browser version, and some cool things for the app: guest race goods will be easily visible, instants are there, and we will soon be able to host events in the app, which we'll be able to show soon, too - stay tuned for that, more news soon! For the full list of changes, please see below:

Improvements


  • Made the remaining time for active scouts easier to read.
  • Improved handling of Knowledge Point rewards that were received while offline.

Balancing Changes


  • So far, event buildings that produced Orcs or Mana, all produced just supplies on lower levels. This has now changed, to give them more value to you. They're going to produce resources that are more relevant for the chapter you are in when you receive one of these buildings. So instead for only giving supplies on lower levels, from now on they will give the following rewards:
    • Buildings producing Orcs:
      Chapter 1-5: Supplies
      Chapter 6-7: One of your unboosted Tier 3 Goods
      Chapter 8-Infinity: Orcs
    • Buildings producing Mana:
      Chapter 1-5: Supplies
      Chapter 6-8: One of your unboosted Tier 3 Goods
      Chapter 9-Infinity: Mana
    Note: To be able to offer this change, we have to cancel production for those buildings one single time. They will start producing the new resource starting from the first time you log back in to the game after the update has been done. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Bug Fixes


As with every update, we've resolved a number of bugs, among which:
  • Made some small changes in the sorting of repeatable quests to make it more consistent.
  • Resolved a bug that caused picking up production to become slow.

Mobile


Note: the app version of the update is released separately from the browser version.
  • Guest race goods are now visible in the main interface, similar to the Browser version.
  • You can now see the city name of a player while giving neighborly help.
  • When moving a set building, you'll now receive a warning showing you that this will potentially affect the set bonus of that building.
  • Made preparations for upcoming events to become available on the App.
  • You can now use instants from the inventory in the app as well.
  • Resolved an error where the Wholesaler could become unusable when playing with multiple accounts.

Dear Humans and Elves,

Please know that we will have to move the update that was scheduled for today to tomorrow, January 10th, because we found an issue that we want to resolve before offering you this update.

On top of that, we have also added a balancing change to the Release Notes that will be part of version 1.45, our apologies for not having added that in the initial version.
