Fixed Radiant Stones In Spire Chests

McBratty

Sorcerer
Today I ran up the Spire and from the first chest to the last chest I only recieved 42 radiant stones per chest. For the final level I should have been getting 126 radiant stones per chest. My Spire rank is 1070.
Can someone look into this please as I have lost out on a load of radiant stones!

Hi @McBratty I think the best thing to do in this instance is raise a Ticket with Support to get this looked into.

They'll be happy to have a look to see if something is amiss :)

Kind Regards

Herodite.

I have never paid attention to how many stones I am getting. I wonder if this is happening to others.

am curious if this issue has been resolved.

in the PC app, i have noticed that during multi-wave fights, radiant stones are added to the inventory after each wave. so i do not see a tally of 126 stones, but rather 42 at the end of the fight, since the other 84 would already have been added during the change overs.

i noted the radiant stone numbers after the spire cycle reopened.
the numbers that are scrolling up into the inventory appear to be the right ones. (and a correction to my earlier comment) a single number scrolls up after the multi-wave fights as well, and this number is the cumulative count for all waves.

According to Support I did indeed recieve the correct amount. Im still unsure but I am assuming its how they display it as opposed to how its banked. I will be watching this week as my old brain cant wrap itself around it all lol.

To confirm, this is indeed a display issue that we are looking to fix.
Yes I finally realized what was going on when I literally counted what I was getting as I progressed up the Spire this week. It just shows 46 stones for everything you unlock along the way when in fact it increases in amount the higher you go. lol Of course this all caused a meltdown when I was dealing with Support...

Can these stones be affected by Spire Battle Score?

This score, top left, will go up and down, week to week, as you waste resources fighting.

I think also that certain fights get harder if your SBS is high? Or maybe it is some other penalty?
Yes, that is the case. My understanding is - If you have an SBS of 1,000 then your fights will be the same difficulty as they were previously. Anything above makes them harder. Anything below makes them easier.

...when the SBS increases, the ratio between the number of your troops and that of the enemy changes - so with a high SBS the enemy is in the majority - this of course makes the fight more difficult...the higher the SBS the more stones there are (for fighters)...

I want to opt out of radiant stones. I get to have fights much harder than they used to be, and in return I get some pointy stones that can't really be exchanged for much that is useful - certainly not enough to compensate for the extra troop costs.

...if you have no use for the stones, you can now deliberately lower the difficulty level by deliberately losing a few battles with unpopular troops...

...it is definitely better than losing more of the popular troops ;) ....

I've tried decreasing my SBS. Playing naively, it was 649. When I smashed my troops getting to the top, it dropped to 625. Then I played really badly to the second gate, losing gold, sending in 0.1 dryads to fight 3 waves ... anything I could think of, and it dropped to 590. I think there may be a filter on the number, so it doesn't drop fast. But I lost a fair bit of stuff playing badly, so it makes me wonder if you are better off just aiming high and losing badly.

It's a problem with this game that it pushes back on you with every improvement, so you wonder what the point really is, outside of making your score higher.

So, now I'm fighting with SBS 590, Needles 10, Dwarven Bulwark 5, Martial 5, and I'm waltzing up to gate 1, with only a few archers lost, which I cloned again using 10 hrs of instants. Smashed gate 1 with 5 squads of light melee, with 15% boost from the Spire spirit.

I'm going to PAY for this next week, when the SBS will be 750
