Answered Problems with Fairy quests.

Hi there folks.

When I was doing the Fairy things, I concentrated on getting through and obtaining the fairy wonders, in particular I didn't bother getting the 'Trees and Lampions' technology since it wasn't necessary to progress. By the time I'd got the Fairy wonders I'd already got better culture buildings and it didn't seem worth it.

BUT. What I'd forgotten was that this was part of a quest in the Fairy quest line, which didn't progress because of this. By the time I remembered the quests, I'd already got rid of my fairy buildings and started on the trolls/goblins stage. Well alright. My fault. I'll just have to go back and build some more fairy buildings and (slowly) do the quests. This I am doing.

Now comes the problem. I have got up to a quest "Produce ambrosia 5 times." But my Fairy portal is already full up with ambrosia from before, and I have no way of getting rid of it. As a result when I produce some more ambrosia I have to throw it away and it doesn't count towards the quest. Therefore I cannot complete this quest or progress any further in these at all. Ever. :-(

Any ideas for how I can get round this impasse?

Ambrosia is used when building Blossom Street, so build a few streets and you'll have enough storage.

Isn't that particular quest declineable? I have also done the quest catchup but I had orc,dwarves and fairies side by side catching up ;)

Something that may help you

Mainline Fairy quest (for humans) from the quest you mentioned:
  • Have at least 1 Cocoon Lampions building
  • Produce beverages 1 time (5min)
  • Gain 1 scroll
  • Gain 1 magic dust
  • Research Day Farm
  • Gain 100K coins
  • Have at least 1 Day Farm
  • Produce sunflowers 5 times
  • Produce velvet 3 times
  • Have a Fairy Portal at level 2 or higher
  • Produce sunflowers 10 times
  • Have at least 2 day farms
  • Research Night Farm
  • Have 1 Night Farm
  • Gain 2000 Crystal
  • Produce Nightshade 10 times
  • Have the Fairy portal at level 3 or higher
  • Research fairy Style Residences
  • Have 1 Residence at level 18 or higher
  • Have 1 Day Farm at level 3 or higher
  • Have 1 Night Farm at level 3 or higher
  • Have 2 Residence at level 18 or higher
  • Produce cocoons 15 times
  • Produce Dream Sheep 15 times
  • Research Fairy-Style Main Hall
  • Produce Ambrosia 5 times (declineable)
  • Produce Night Essence 5 Times (declineable)
  • Research blossom Street
  • Produce Nightshade 20 times
  • Have the Fairy Portal Site at Level 4 or higher
  • Research Fairy Style Crystal Factories
  • Research Fairy Style Scrolls Factories
  • Research Fairy Style Silk Factories
  • Have a (boosted) factory at level 16 or higher
  • Research Pond of Recreation
  • Have at least 1 Pond of Recreation
  • Research City Expansion 31
  • Research fairies Ancient Wonders

Mykan: You're correct and I'm an idiot. It has now been declined (along with the next one). I dislike dislining quests so I didn't notice that. these are exceptional circumstances though.
