New Round of Fellowship Adventures.

FA always does my head in for the same reasons already stated. You send out a message before hand outlining the plan of action. Also asking if anyone wont be participating or is not bothered if we dont wait. A few replies come in. You state in chat what paths or path we are doing and off we go. Sure as eggs, you get those who seem to be under the impression its a solo event and charge in filling up points without a care in the world. You have a few people who havent placed a badge so you ask them to leave a couple of badges on a point for them...they dont bother and fill them anyway...grrrrrr. It does my head in and I thank god it only lasts a few days.
The biggest problem with it all is that people just dont read the messages that are sent out!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Hayle that is sad you have a FS that does not reflect your enthusiam and helpfulness. A FS that will help you progress is important, it is not just about Spire Gold and a huge number of chests certainly until later on. I hope you do find your 'FS home'? :)

Hi Hayle, sorry to hear that! If you were in Winyandor you would be welcome to join our team. We have accepted a couple of active players who have only just started the game and they are progressing nicely with our support. We will take anybody who is active and keen irrespective of which chapter they are in,

We always have a good go at the FA and we finished 59th this time round having completed all 3 stages. Our favourite bit is the last half hour when we all throw our last badges into the pits - it’s fast and furious!

i hope you find a good new fellowship in Arendyll, pity you can’t relocate villages!

Thank you so much for your message. I have just been accepted into a new group and am settling in. If I decide to start playing over two worlds, I will definitely keep you in mind when I have to join a FS! I really appreciate you taking the time to message me

Just a thought @Hayle do you keep a close look at our Fellowships seeking members here on the Forum? We always have some posting when they have vacancies, as it does indeed seem you are in an inactive Fellowship from your comments. A good Fellowship would be helping you greatly with Trades and Ancient Wonder swaps etc: to help you move up the Chapters with more ease and grace.

In one of fs where i was they made me a newbie a mage to keep statistics of fa. Ahahah, i was asking ghost busters to show their might in spire, and trying to get badges in other funny ways. And then i was greatly surprised to know there is reword for every map ))))))) so i kind of understand their enthusiasm.

I had a merger completely fall apart due to this sort of thing. Did you know that there are also players who only enjoy the Adventure when someone tells what to build and when to switch?

Imho FAs are always going to be painfully challenging for the coordinator. Communication methods are limited, and as everyone has said, even those who do read your communications often take no notice of them!

It is a bit better now you can mark a path with those ring thingies, and loads loads better now you can cash in multiple badges at the same time.

Somehow despite all the issues we muddle thru and get all 3 stages completed, even if I do get more grey hairs every time we do one.

They do? No, never met them))) where i am now team is wonderful! AM is glorious and much loved. I enjoy every day with them.

I met a couple in the last FA that found it very stressful for map one to wait and one who was placed found it very stressful for reasons unknown with 3 days left and placed on map 3 that they dumped badges on places we were avoiding waiting for it to go to the pit although they were not interested in the pit all because I made then fellow for the duration to prevent premature finishing of the event and caused a huge amount of undue stress on everyone despite being on other worlds with 2 or 3 of my fellows and said it was the most stressful FA they had ever been in, do they not realise they don't have to be online at the time of flag collect to still gain the prize. Each time one or 2 cause more problems than the FA is worth.
