Closed | Archived New message notification doesn't go away

Since the update earlier today, I've noticed that when there's a notification for new messages (with the red number on the message icon) and I open the message system, the notification stays when I close the message system again. Normally, this notification used to disappear upon opening the message system, even without opening the message itself. However, now the notification doesn't go away. Not when opening the message system, nor when opening the actual message thread that has a new reply. It only disappears when I refresh the entire page.
I've noticed this on two different accounts now, both on the EN1 Arendyll world (v1.168.1-(ac87915) - html5 (2023-01-31 17:07).
My world on US3 Felyndral doesn't have this issue, but that world has not been updated yet to the new version (it still runs on v1.167.3-(86656e5) - html5 (2023-01-25 09:59).
