Does for Evolving Buildings what the Ancient Wonders window does for Ancient Wonders.

Lists all the existing Evolving Buildings, showing their status of missing, inventoried, placed.

Shows the number of existing Artifacts (and Tomes) with each Evolving Building.

The more info the better but I feel they want everyone to dredge the depths of inventory for themselves, however, I would like to see some icon on evolving buildings if an artefact is available to upgrade it, and also some icon above expired buildings that can be removed once clicked on (Another idea off topic of yours yes but part of the same thought process)

Or a tab in our inventories for all evolving base buildings, plus the artefacts/tomes and possibly set buildings, if that's similar to what you're suggesting?
