Answered How come I sometimes get supplies for being neighbourly but most of the time I don't?

This should be in the "Questions and Help" section but I'll answer it for you here.
You only get supplies when helping someone who has helped you in the past 24 hours. (If a particular person hasn't helped you in the last 24 hours and you decide to help them, you won't receive supplies, just gold. Better hope you have active neighbours - for more reasons than one.)
