Elvenar Team Hi from Darkstar

The name is Darkstar and I have an obsession with bugs. Not the creepy too-many-legs ones who dwell the world outside, not a particular fan of those, but the ones who mess around with computer codes.

Thus I'll be helping out as Senior QA Mod for Elvenar EN and I'm looking forward to us handling the pesky bugs together. Some of you may know me from Elvenar BETA or Forge of Empires EN as well. I used to help out with FoE US in the past, though under a different alias.

I'm 23 years old and currently living in a small country in Europe. I have a background in Computer Science and Engineering so you can see the connection with my obsession with bugs. Usually I'm working as freelancer for whatever interesting projects I can find in the large field that is IT.

I also love games (both browser and video ones), I like meddling around with graphics and design, and I probably watch too many tv shows. All of that leading to the fact that I probably sit in front of a computer more that I should. o_O

Thankfully there come in my other hobbies such as hiking, reading (fantasy's preferred, but anything with a great story is welcome), attempting to write stuff of my own, some amateur photography, and simply spending time in the open observing the flora and fauna.

Am looking forward to working with you to ensure the game runs smooth with no bugs. ;)

Your thread looks lonely so I'll say hi!

Maybe you should get a puppy and post some pictures

Hi Barti! Hi Aspirina! Thanks for taking the loneliness off the thread. :D

I'm from Macedonia which is as south as you can get in Europe. And yeah, getting a puppy's on the to-do list and it just got bumped up higher on the list. lol

Maybe in the meantime I can bribe y'all with a friend's golden retriever, I watch him on most weekends when my friend's out of town and I take him on walks when I'm available to do so. He's called 'Happy' (I know, a tad bit cheesy) and I've been watching him since he was this tiny (knew how to pose even back then):

His first snow and him thinking he's a bunny:

And a mandatory nose photo:

He's a bit older now from those pics, will make 5 years in July. Sadly I don't have any recent good photos without me or another person hugging him. :p I never had a pet of my own in the past so I got attached to him.

Ohhh, Bribe absolutely accepted. I really love retrievers they are soooo active. I though of having one but my apartment wasn’t just big enough :(
On my neighbourhood there are 6 golden, most of them females and they tend to be a bit overweigh as living in an apartment doesn’t really gives them enough room to move around and run the way they should…

I have heard it’s a beautiful country, never been there myself but I plan to go when I make a trip to Greece ;)

The other issue is they're way too hairy and you'll be cleaning after them all the time, especially during the summer period. It's a hateful thing but if you love them you'll be doing it no matter how much it annoys you. :D

Yep, it's a small but beautiful place, should be good enough for a visit if you're ever nearby. :)

Hey to you too, dropbear - nick nick and avatar combo! :) (yes yes, I know it's not a bear but still)

The Darkstar nick comes from a series of books, but I only liked how it sounds, don't really like the character with that name.

You like books with good stories, if you like sci-fi the 'Culture' books by Iain M Banks are fab. I enjoy those by Alastair Reynolds too.

Tried to get my son into Terry Pratchet but he wasn't interested, maybe if I bought him a digital version that he could read on his tablet ...
