Yeah im sorry but it is yet the same old same old .At the end it needs to solve 40 encounters (not counting the 48 relics you will need .)

So 40 encounters is 5 provinces =5 x35 hours = approximately 6 days . we got 12 days for this .....Either the high people or the very low people will get a really hard time with this .:confused:

In one way inno does not want you to scout ahead ,yet they let you scout in the quests ,so you will still end up with to Manny provinces .Wow so intelligent .They need to at least try to imagine some other quests .......

And all of this just really close after the autumn quest .I do not mind questing and i like to win something useful .But please make it pleasurable as wello_O:p

Further more the Prizes are on the low site for the orc chapter ,they need to come up a lot more .
2900 culture for the orcs when you are in fairy chapter you get 2400 ,how ever when you are in woodelves all of a sudden jumps up to 5400 .That means that the orc chapter gets downplayed so much .It should be at least 3700 culture .

Same goes for the windmill .780 culture and 760 people which should be at least a 900 to stay in between those 2 . fairy chapter gets 650 /630 and woodelves get 1470 /1430 .

Why is the orcs downplayed so much !!!

Looking forward to the event, but struggling to prepare for the 40 encounters required, as being in the Fairies chapter some of my scouted provences now require Orcs which I don't get yet as it will be a couple of months before I get Armories unlocked to level 20.
I wish there were alternatives to solving encounters.

+1 for an alternative to solving encounters. That quest alone is why I'm most likely going to skip this event.

On a positive note, the artwork of the buildings looks great and I dig the Evil Dead theme.

Same here, it takes 72 hours to scout a province and I'd need to 5 of them in 8 days from now, when it'll take me 15 days to scout five... Seems like I'll just pass the event altogether rather. Luckily the buildings give less per square than many event buildings from the last two events(for Halflings chapter at least), so I'm not missing out much anyway.

I will agree that it looks a little tougher than usual, but let's be honest the quests are usually way too easy. The quests aren't really enjoyable if they're just a procession of producing various goods and supplies which just becomes a bit of a chore that you know you will complete, but you're just being made to go through the monotonous drudgery to get there. With the autumn event I had 12 days to spare out of 26, I didn't use diamonds and I barely even built any extra buildings to help, so I know I can't be the only one thinking that.

That all said it would be nice if they came up with some slightly more new and inventive types of tasks rather than the same old same old.

There is no point in my scouting any encounters because they all need orcs now. I am in fairies and unlikely to get to orcs before the event ends. I cannot guarantee I can unlock research in time for this task and as for Level 20 - no-one under orcs can upgrade to 20 (at least I haven't seen any).

I'm not sure why the devs think that this is a fun but challenging event - but from what I've seen it's going to be yet another damp squib. I think they seriously need to reconsider exactly what this game is about - and whether they even understand that concept.

If the tasks were challenging and interesting, I'd agree with those who say we need tougher tasks; but, they are neither. Some are out of reach tough for many players, with no way to complete them. Some of us don't have time to sit just waiting for the XX 5mins, 15mins, 1hour supplies and all of these tasks are the same ol' same ol' as all the other events.

Upgrading to level 20 is easy, if you've reached orcs and have a building that can be upgraded. Complete a research is easy - if you aren't stuck in dwarves or fairies waiting for specialised goods. Win 40 encounters is easy if you can scout enough provinces, train enough troops or gather enough goods and don't need orcs (as I do).

Produce XX bread, XX advanced tools, XX beverages, train XXX troops, win XX encounters - there isn't and hasn't been one innovative or interesting task in any recent event.

I haven't had one fellow in any of my FSs say 'oh wow, great event - I'm really looking forward to it'. Invariably it's 'think I'll pass' or '3min instants, 1KP, @$$%&* or words to that effect . Even the bigger cities who are in halflings or dragons can't be bothered with this event.

Players are getting quite tired with the constant stream of events which require them to keep expanding their map - but at the same time, making it less appealing to do so.

Just my opinion but i think that the rewards are not worth the effort. 3 min time reduction boosts are a waste of time(no pun intended).
Gain 48 relics, solve 40 encounters and buy 17 KP and what do we get ? a 10% supply windfall, 10% coin rain, 1 KP, and some small time reduction boosts. Not worth the effort to me so i will not even start this event. Like i said, just my opinion.

I have not seen a single quest yet where they are asking to visit 50 or 20 neighbors .This is only a very small example where you can get some other quests and helps the community.

Secondary quest is needed in the scouting option .So people have a choice .And that doesn't intend upgrading which they do not have .Or get the scouting time down .Or make it so people can do their scouts .For example give orcs in fairy chapter, give mana in orc chapter .. And quit with buildings that have a lousy reward of supplies .Jeez ...

It gets more frustrating then a love to play .Get the orc prizes up to where they need to be .Because the orc chapter is already hard to get thru ,taking in to count the lousy rewards ,and it becomes tedious no wonder people stop playing and where do they stop ,yes in the orc chapter . wonder why ...... :p

Shame they don't include a little x on the icons for the event so you can remove it from your screen if you're not taking part in the event so you don't have to look at them for 13 days. for those that take part, good luck have fun, as for me i won't be doing it.

The prizes are not worth the effort and I cannot afford to negotiate 5 provinces one after the other. I could only just manage to scout 5 times within twelve days. Any player with scouting times above 57 hours cannot complete the Event. I've just completed the Woodelves AW research so need my next research , which will take over 100 hours , before I continue scouting.
Another point is that some of us have very high costs for kps and are continually being asked to buy kps. This is ridiculous :(.

I've already decided to complete the first few quests (since they are quick and easy) and stop. The prizes are just not worth the effort needed to get them. Good luck to those who will be doing the event.

This exact same thing is going on ,on beta as well makes you wonder ,why is beta even there ..and why they never seem to listen

Anyone know if there is any chance they may modify the encoutners quests from beta levels? If not I am abandoning the event as mathematically impossible for me to scout that many provinces in the time allowed for the game and the quest prizes aren't worth enough to play for. Fair enough to make the quests tougher, pointless to make them impossible.

Shabob, as I've also said in other posts - these are impossible for me to do because I too cannot scout that many provinces either, and I can't win any encounters because I need orcs and I'm in fairies. Some of the smaller cities, won't be able to either because they just don't have the coins to pay for scouting or the resources or troops to win that many encounters. I just can't see the point of many of these tasks, for many players they aren't doable - so what were the devs thinking? That is rhetorical, because we all know the devs stay behind a solid wall of silence.

I expect to take some flak for saying this, but my thought on this is that maybe not every quest is for every player and we need to just accept that there are some we know we can get through and there are others that we maybe decide that it is too tough or we are not motivated enough by the prizes and so we will accept that we won't get through them.

Now don't get me wrong: It is disappointing not to have everything, but personally I think that this is a better thing than having a situation where you know that everyone can complete every quest without any trouble. It is not so satisfying to win that prize building if you know that everyone playing the game has won it also.

Take the Masquerade quest, for example. Judging from the prizes that questline was aimed solely at people who could produce mana and I just whimisically thought to myself: "Well it's pity, but this quest just isn't aimed at me". The sugar beet quest I largely sat out (certainly sat out of the chance of the top two grand prizes) because I felt that some of the quests were too much for me plus I wasn't motivated enough by those prizes. So that was just my personal decision really.

This Halloween quest I am going all out for... mostly because I think that windmill looks cool and that's a big driving force for me. Right now I'm up to quest 16 (even with my KP costing 410k) and I expect to hit the latter relics quest by the time the marble tournament starts. My scouting may not take as long as some, but it is almost 30 hours per province. Because I am motivated I started saving my provinces when I first saw the quests. Taking those 7 days and including, let's say, the first 7 days of the quest itself then that allows me to save up 11 provinces. Fortuitously for me I already had 3 or 4 provinces waiting from the get go, so I don't really have any issue with that element. My only concern is saving up enough goods to pay for them all.

So my points are a) We shouldn't expect to be able to win every prize from every quest and b) If you really really want to win the prize then quite a lot can be accomplished with careful planning considering we get 7 days' notice of what we need to prepare for.

I think I'm going to solve the quests as long as they are convenient for my cities. No one Event ever, will push me into disaster on world map or slow me down!It means that I will not buy any of KPs,I will not collect all those relics ,or solve encounters; in Dwarf's or Fairies, as well as I will not do it in chapter II.........which is, BTW impossible mission in chapter II.
It also means that I will quit the Event on 13. quest, at best.:)
I don't want awards.I have them too much already.
I am writing this because I am flattering myself that I am the voice of average majority.
