Probably heard about all the dwarf beer I brew during FAsThey must be running off to @Jake65’s village!
Some pet food and a bit of elbow grease and it's azureness is returningThe phoenix just lost some of it's azureness
In my opinion this pet is a great asset to players at all levels. For the same amount of troops or resources you are going to get more tournament points, and pet food is often available to craft in the Magic Academy. If I listen to Jake65, then this pet is more aimed at higher level players than it is at lower chapter players.
Do so at your own perilIf I listen to Jake65

I think this was the case last week. Overall, the scores seemed to be much higher than usual. My 'normal' score had me in a lower position than I expected.stay in the same position that they were in before.
More orcs if you have a Shrine of the ChumpionsSo what does this bird do
chump chump … or is it munch, munch on pet foodChumpions
Fair warning!Do so at your own peril![]()
I've got better funky chickens that need a feed instead. So what does this bird do? It makes everyone use one or more extra pet foods each week in order to be able to stay in the same position
You do get extra individual points and additional resources that are linked to your tourney points.you don't get individual points but points for the fellowship.
Only things like AW boosts, but you don't get the extra KP, rune shards, other prizes that would come from actually scoring those extra points. You do get extra individual points and additional resources that are linked to your tourney points.
The feeding effect only has to be active whilst you are fighting/negotiating each tournament encounter. Then the extra points are locked in.The question for me is: when is it best to feed your Azure Phoenix, given that the feeding lasts only 24 hours? If most of the points go to the fellowship, I think this will happen at the end of the tournament. Will you still get these points if the bird has been fed during the tournament but it is not in active feed mode when the tournament actually finishes?
Assuming you haven't maxed out a D111-a Time Warp and a Polar Bear, thereby allowing you to blitz the Tournament in a few minutes (not sure of the exact timeframe as I am not in this position), but assuming you do have the D111-a Time Warp at a reasonable level (Say 3.x hours between rounds) then I would wait until the 1st full day of Tournament that you can be active for.The question for me is: when is it best to feed your Azure Phoenix, given that the feeding lasts only 24 hours? If your Polar Bear is maxed there is no tournament cool down. Correction: In conjunction with the Timewarp, a maxed Polar Bear removes the cool down. Thanks Valedoress. That's helpful. Makes me wonder though. I don't have a maxed out Time Warp or Polar Bear, but if I did, would I get the 20% reduced duration from feeding the polar bear as well as a tournament cool-down time of 1 hour and 36 minutes? I am not sure of the maths on this, but it may be 96 minutes minus 20% = 76.8 minutes??
Ever since the most recent changes to AWs, the bear doesn't have to be maxed. Mine is level 9 (keeping t there to get the supply instants instead of PPs) and my TW is Lv 31. And I think it would work even with a lower LV TW (29-30) or lower level bear if the TW is high enough. There is some room for wiggle now which is good for those players how haven't collected all the bear artifacts yet.If your Polar Bear is maxed there is no tournament cool down.
