Gaining crystals

I am new to the game and have no idea how to get crystals. I have all the relics I need to unlock the crystals research but I don’t know how to find it. I am playing on an IPhone not PC

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly. Are you in chapter two and did you get a quest to unlock crystal manufactories? They are in your research menu. I don't know however why you can't find them and what the relics have got to do with it.

Just keep going to the right in your research menu. You should come across the research. After Advanced Scouts you have two columns of 4, one of 2 researches and the next column of 4 is the one you are looking for.
