Answered Fellowship perk - how does it work?

Hi, another newbie question
Before the last tournament, our little fellowship spent our points on rank 1 of 'tournament archive'.
We ended the tournament, as expected, about halfway to the next chest - so there were some points to save towards the next/current tournament
But we can't see where those points have gone or any way to apply them to the current tournament.
We thought they might automatically turn up at the start of the current tournament, but they didn't
Can't find a button anywhere to choose to use them

It's quite a big deal because if the points are just lost we'll just stop doing the tournament when we get to the last chest we're likely to complete - it's very expensive in resources to carry on for nothing

Or am i just totally missing something??
 
Hi There @RaviTheStout So yes it sounds very much like you have a surplus to use but the Archive can only be applied by the Archmage or a Mage in the Fellowship.

If there are any points available you should see a small green plus sign on the Tournament Contribution Screen. Click this, and it will show how many you have available.

I may be mis-understanding your question but if you go into the Tournament tab of your fellowship icon/button, then click the plus button at the end of the bar under the chests, that gives you your saved tournament archive points. It also allows you to use your saved points to unlock the next chest in the current tournament. If the points that you previously saved are not showing there, I don't know where they would be.
(I posted this at the same time as Herodite but it seems to say the same thing).

We see the bar, but no plus sign.

Should we have done something to archive the points? (we didn't - just bought the 1st level of the fellowship perk).

I guess that means our last surplus wasn't archived :(
What can we do to avoid the same when this tournament ends in a few hours' time?
 
Your surplus Tournament Points will be archived automatically so you won't need to do anything. Are you certain that the Perk was activated prior to the end of the Tournament? Best thing to do is raise a Ticket with our Support Team and we can double check this for you :)

It sounds like he just activated the perk before the current tournament so there will be no saved archive. @RaviTheStout at the end of the tournament, the number of excess points beyond the last complete chest is what gets added to your archive and you can only use them from the next tournament
 
I read it differently @Pauly7, but I am not sure how you actually activate the perk so i am probably wrong. @RaviTheStou, I agree with @Herodite, you should raise a ticket with the Help desk and see what they say.

If you view the Tournament info via the Tab in your City page then the + symbol is not shown and you cannot see the points.

You can only see the + symbol when the Tournament is Active, you have to go to the World Map and then access the Tournament Icon with the 2 tabs, one for your individual status and the other for your Fellowship status, this is where the + symbol is located on the Right Hand Side of your Points Total bar.
