Answered Fellowship Adventures in reverse?

Suppose your Fellowship is working it's way down the blue path. Suppose you then complete the second crossover point. Suppose you then complete the second crossover point on the yellow path. Does that now enable you to complete both the forward and reverse direction waypoints on the yellow path? Can you start progressing backwards down the yellow path from that point?

I believe that you can only go forward from the waypoint not backwards.
