Fellowship Adventure boost

There are temporary buildings that increase military abilities that aid Spire and Tourneys.
There are buildings that increase dropped Event currency.


How about something that will temporarily aid Fellowship Adventures?

The Jousting Festival

Only 1 can be placed at a time.
Requires at least 5 days to charge, activates for 1 day, 2 days to recover.

  • First, the Jousting Grounds are built. Upon placing, a 120-hour timer start, preventing early activation. Animation has the grounds, stables and stands being built.
  • Next, the advertisement is set out. Once placed, you are optionally allowed to stockpile up to 3 Pet Foods for the jousting horses. Each donation starts a 24-hour timer before you can make another Pet Food donation. Animation places various signs and decorations.
  • Next, the knights arrive and start practicing - Your population is getting excited to attend and are extra productive.. After it has been placed for at least 5 days, you would be able to activate it. Once activated, all production times are decreased for 24 hours. Base speed would be 80% (4 minutes instead of 5, etc.) Stockpiled Pet Foods apply extra reductions, 60%, 40% or even 20% (3 for 5, 2 for 5 or 1 for 5). Animation shows various knights, squires and horses arriving. Unable to be removed once activated.
  • Lastly, everyone attends the Joust.
    • Everyone.
    • Your total population.
    • For 48 hours.
    • All your working population, and so all production buildings shut down and are unable to produce for 48 hours.
    • All your available population, so you can not build or update anything that requires population for 48 hours.
    • Animation shows the actual jousts.
    • Unable to be removed during the joust.
  • Cleanup. After the joust ends, no more benefit. Animation shows empty stands, light trash, cleanup crews. Able to be removed at this point.

Optimum use would be to place this building immediately after the Fellowship Adventure starts (but allows for maximum pre-production collection) and you can activate it for the last day of the Fellowship Adventure.
It takes up 40 squares. This would be the equivalent of 10 Workshops or 5 sets of Manufactories, so costs 6 Blacksmiths, or 32 Farmers, or 15 Statues, or 30 Necklaces, etc. But, fully charged, it can allow an up to 5x production boost for one day on everything else.

Needed to have some balance. It needs to have some real benefit, but needs consequences to prevent Overpowering.

On review, I think that the duration of the actual Joust, and thus the length of the post-boost non-production, should probably be lengthened by a day for each Pet Food used. The thought is that you're time-shifting production. 5x production speed should be repaid by 5 days post-FA rest.
