Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While this particular aspect was not thought of while planning the competition, it will certainly be taken into consideration next time.

I will address this further once the competition has ended. :) For now, keep searching. ;)

I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy with the competition. Please understand that all events and competitions are moderation team organized. We try our best to give you all as many chances as possible to win Diamonds to spend on Elvenar as well as having fun winning them.

We will take your feedback into consideration for future competitions.

Thank you for your feedback! As @Amy Steele has already mentioned, we would have loved to give a few days notice about the competition but as they were hidden before the competition started it would have prompted others to begin searching early.

I am fine everyone, thanks - I think it is too hard (ie too much time consuming) to find 28 hearts in so little time; I have found 7 of what I understood (but I may have got it wrong) 28.
So won't continue, but thanks to whoever helped me to understand the instructions, notably Valerius

Had no problem with finding hearts:p, just my hand get numb after few minutes (about 4h scrolling pages:cool:). Really nice competition :)
Just one thing... i've found 16? red hearts and 14 blue....

Hi tist -

Glad you enjoyed the competition! I have double checked and there are indeed only 14 of each red and blue hearts. :)

Well, I only managed to find 24, but it's past bedtime, and I need to be awake for real work tomorrow. I'll have to hope that's enough. :)

Unfortunately didn't find them all because I spent all night exploring the forums lol - found some really fun things including count to 10 before a mod :)

I had to apologise to my Forge of Empires guild members for neglecting them yesterday. One of them kindly commented no problem - for most people there was a life outside FOE. I had to reply: yes there is - it's called Elvenar!

Nice idea but not a competition I could be bothered with as the neighbourly help is already boring enough :p Kudos to the players who participated!

Well, I started it, but didn't manage to find them all (9 I think) before the huffing and sighing from my other/better half got too much for me to ignore!! But at least I managed to get most of the wallpaper stripped off the lounge walls :D

hey ho, such is life :rolleyes:. Well done to anyone who managed to find them all :).

Sorry to be the 'Mc Guyver' guy with strange ideas... but if you have already red my list, you'll see that I've included the event thread into my search because you said"...simply, by finding the Elf (blue) and Human (red) hearts hidden around the forum." without mentionning the thread itself was excluded of the search...

So, is it a good Mc idea (like exploding toothpaste) or a bad one (like kitchen made combat gas) ? :rolleyes:

I've seen some... well... 'not to possitive' thoughs about your motivations and myself I'm sure you did this event just to check the forum was okay ;)

And because I spended more than 8 hours to go thru all the forum (and I did it fast), I'm asking myself how did those who did it in 3h... :eek:

And last, about the 'geek' way to find the hearts by sniffing the forum and searching 'red...' or 'blue...', I checked it and... [confirmed]

Yes, you can search the source code but you would still need to be in the thread on the page in which the heart is found, iirc. :)
