So the event came to my game but is not working, strange messages about completing the questline already and the event is not running.

Event quest list, for anyone who wants it:
1. Gain coins (quantity depends on chapter).
2. Produce 8x Beverages (5min workshop production).
3. Spend 8KP.
4. Produce any 2x Precious Ring/Marble Mosaic/Wooden Figurine (3hr tier1 production).
5. Produce 7x Simple Tools (15min workshop production).
6. Use 1x enchantment.
7. Solve 4x encounters/spire encounters. Produce 3x Groceries (9hr workshop production).
8. Produce 2x Groceries (9hr workshop production). Gain 400 spell fragments OR scout 1 province.

Just wondering, since i haven't tried this setup before with the raffle baffle thing.

It looks expensive if you want to win anything ?

It costs 25 to open a flower AND it costs 45 to re-raffle.

If i understand it correctly i have magnifying glass 15 times the whole event and double pay out 17 ?

EDIT; Ahh, i can see when i open a flower i counts toward 15 and 17, so opening 15 and 17 flowers will give me one magnifying glass and one double pay out :cool:

Yes, and the shuffle is just 45 going down the drain, which gives no progression on the map, whereas 25 gives one step on it.

Just checked the buildings. They are equal to the phoenix event we just had. Same specs, at least on those i remember and have in inventory.

There are times when it is easier. The good thing is that you are guaranteed a daily prize after X number of currency spent. We've all had those occasions in the 3 chest system where we've spent a thousand currency and got nothing. This doesn't happen, but conversely we are also less likely to have those lucky occasions where we manage to win 5 dailies for not much currency. There's also no bonus currency available.

The biggest problem is that most of the other prizes on offer are barely even prizes. An occasional handful of KP or a few troops, but nothing to be excited about.

Remember you don't ever have to spend the 45 currency to re-shuffle. That's only if you don't want to open all the chests and would rather start again. It also automatically restarts overnight, no matter how many boxes you opened the day before, without costing an extra 45.

Yes, but again as you state, that only gives one daily prize, so that much fun is that o_O

Well, in my ch12 city i got the daily on the 2nd flower, but not sure i will pay to raffle. Is there a calculation from when this was first used, how many times one can afford to raffle to get all the artifacts - not that the building is that awesome to me as a boosted in scroll - HURRAYYY ;)

And yes, if you can collect 400 each day, then you are guaranteed to get the daily.

I think I am ok with the shuffle. Fixed cost, 25 currencies. Usually doing better overall with this version than the revolving chests. Will see if it holds true again.

The one good thing about this event do far is that the shovels are very easy to find unlike some currency we had before.
I noticed that. Very big bright shovels. I wish they'd stop making us collect stuff up from around the city outskirts though. The novelty of that wore off about 4 years ago. I would have thought it would be something to do once or twice for a bit of fun.
