It'd be nicerer (!) if after reaching the Vortex (aka Whirlpool of Woe, Pit of Despair, etc.) there could be citizens seen wandering around all the various conquered pathways. Kinda' like the citizens roaming our city streets.

The way it is, the scene is a bit sterile and uninviting.

Reminds me of the paralysed vista at the top of the Spire in some ways.

Citizens of Elvenar do not need to be wrapped in cotton wool. They know to keep away if they are incapable of walking on a path. No nanny state here.

I take your point @C-Nymph. Perhaps we can add a toggle/check-box to allow lowering of the graphics so as to exclude the vortex explorers. After all, it's just one extra thing we won't be getting anyway.
