User Interface Events - Selection to merge objects

Dragging and dropping objects in order to merge them on the event board like Mama Juul is somewhat inconvenient.
It would be more practical to merge with selection, that is, the first click selects the first object (a function already present) while the second, if it occurs on an identical object, does the merging.
Of course such a system can coexist with the current drag-and-drop system without problems, but it would make a rather tedious operation easier.

Good idea @Lymhir. Although I suspect the operation has been intended to be somewhat tedious (fun?).
