Hold your (sea)horses! This year your city is hosting the Elvarian Games! In this underwater sports spectacular, seashorses will race through the hoops to be the first to reach the end points. While you watch the games, you'll learn more from our mega fan Rufus, a dwarf that is completely obsessed with the Elvarian Games and sits by you in the stands explaining and participating in the events around.

We added a few latest updates to our Announcement, (such as the updated link for the wiki) for you to be up to date!
During this year's summer event, you'll learn everything there is to know about the Elvarian Games!
From today, until August 12th, you are the host to this year's Elvarian Games! By following the questline and fulfilling tasks for Rufus, you'll get him to explain everything about the games to you, and he'll award you with Seahorse Food so you can feed your seahorses and get them strong enough to swim to the underwater hoops. Of course you can also earn Seahorse Food by reaching quest milestones, visiting your city on a daily basis, and occasionally you'll find some Food that was lost around your city.
As the seahorses swim through the hoops, they will find many treasures, which of course they will bring back to you. Each time a seahorse reaches the end stage, they will reward you with one of many special Grand Prizes. By progressing through the event, you will be able to build and upgrade the special Triumph of the Tides evolution building:
The Triumph of the Tides will give you population and culture and will be the first ever evolution building in which you can switch the additional production output (between Supplies, Heavy Melee units, Sentient Goods or Seeds depending on your chapter).
This event will use the same mechanics as last month's Sorcerers' Homecoming event. It will also feature the Leagues system again!
The questline consists of a story section and additional episodic quests, which start as soon as the story is completed. This means that you will be able to finish the first series of quests right away, while later quests have new additions released on a daily basis, allowing you to continue to play 1 additional event quest on each new event day. Fulfilling the event quests will also grant you Milestone Rewards at certain points along the way.
