Following on from the Amuni quest to donate lots of Divine seeds and whatever else you had to do to gain 1 coin. I am sure the Devs are just having a laugh now.
Upgrade Main Hall (Which you need a second mortgage for) and deliver 1 million supplies
Reward 1 broken shard :)
I know you can wait for the next chapter to start in 4-6 months
But Come on you should at least get some thing decent like a few Humarian or Evenarium to get you through the last few techs

Not to mention the lucidcrous amount of space one has to devote to finishing up a questline. It's almost as if the devs wanted us to keep 1/4th of our cities permanently devoted to either FA/Events or guest races. And if by any chance you find yourself in the middle of a guest race chapter when an event or a FA hits... good luck with that.
