Beta forum is dead as can be though, so we wouldn't have the foggiest about what is happening on the beta.

Yeah, last few times I've been over there, there's been nothing.

Very few Forums are active, as most players moved and stayed on Discord. Beta being one of them. For any with an account there the three English speaking servers have a combined space (Beta, EN and US), albeit with separate Announcements as mentioned by Herodite. I hope this alleviates any confusion regarding the Beta Forum.

Bastet is an Egyptian goddess. They didn't think that up.

That being said... If they are calling it "THE Bastet", that is a little weird. That's like saying "The Horus".
