Communication Can we have separate tabs for Visits and Trades???

I will quote @Lelanya 's post if you don't want to go to Beta but you should better read the whole thread.
Anyway, this isn't about Beta. is about the last session of Inno's Q&A -no need to put it in the section about Beta stuff.

"What was it the Dev (Thiago) actually said?
At the moment I do not see any plan to do that. Could be an improvement. So. If we feel that the community is asking consistently and it's causing some problems or making the playing experience a little too complicated, could be an option. Nowadays if you can help a neighbour you will see a different icon showing the hands so you can scroll to the messages and see which of the neighbors you can help back. But yeah we are always open to improving the functions and monitoring - you more than me - what is the players need more than most. And yah we can work on implementing everything that makes our players life easier.
So I am very puzzled as to how Giada as Community Management Specialist would not be aware of this issue, since folks are asking for this everywhere, every Forum, every Facebook support page, not just asking, but begging since our maps have been hugely disrupted going back to November of last year. "

Are these guys for real? How consistent we have to ask and point out how many problems we have and how unpleasant is the experience for us????

I almost never look at notifications.
It never dawned on me to use it for the purposes of neighbor visits.
Neighbor visits on the browser are a pain but since the app came out, I switch to the app and neighbor visits are relatively painless and then I switch back to browser again.
I visit my entire fellowship and map every day and it all gets done in under 20 minutes.
I guess not everyone has a device where they can switch to the app.
Perhaps it's not the notifications that needs tweaking.
The whole map concept for visits, on the browser at least, is not great.
It takes too long to load each and every city.
It would be better if all your map neighbors were listed out like your fellowship members are.
Then everyone could scroll their way through their neighbor list, visit them, and pretty much ignore what ever goes on in notifications.

Maybe it would be better if we didn't have to *wait* for the neighbour city to load into glorious technicolor splendour. I would just like to see a pop-up with a display of their eligible NH buildings. Same as the fellowship NH process.

I guess you are one of the few :) Anyway, is not normal to be forced to switch between PC and App to solve a situation created by them < @InnoGames . I chose to use the PC for a reason, I hate to be forced to use another platform just because of their carelessness.

I disagree, we have a great feature for visits already - through Notification. They just not use their brain to forsee how it interacts with other features or they simply don't care.
About your suggestion, I would might like it if I wouldn't have around 500 neighbours (maybe more - never counted them). Scrolling a list of so many neighbours will be a pain itself.

You like to use notifications so you can just visit those who have already visited you. So a list of map neighbors would do that and you wouldn't have to visit every single one, just the ones you want. If it were like the fellowship list, the ones showing gold would be the ones you want. If there were a way to sort the list so the ones that visited you were on top it would be even more convenient. The list of neighbors wouldn't change much unless you completed more provinces or there was a big map relocation. Using notifications to track neighbor visits is like trying to use a screw driver to hammer in a few nails and what you need is a hammer and not a redesigned screw driver.

I must be using the wrong end of the screwdriver though. Current system is painful, and I'm wracked with guilt that I am missing the return of NH to some goodly neighbours on my World Map. It'd be nice if I could NH some new neighbours too, but waiting for each neighbour city to load is like watching paint dry!

I can get through my 472 discovered provinces in about 5 minutes, using the app. This way, I don't miss anyone.

575 discovered provinces, 343 NH-able. Just took me 8:56-9:19, so 22-24 minutes to NH them all using the app (not always responsive at the fastest rate), approximately 3.8-4.20 seconds per NH, 1.28-1.40 seconds per tap.

Still more efficient than on the browser.

I like the "speed test" you've made, guys! :D but here we aren't talking about how fast the visits are through the App. I say it again, in a game, one player shouldn't be forced to use different platforms for different features.
The notification system needed (and was asked) a huge overhaul long before we had so many chapters with so many types of goods, Merchants and The Big movement.
We were given the visits through Notifications which IMHO is a great thing and a great improvement for PC players but which is now reduced to nothing (or close to that) by the above mentioned reasons.
ATM even if I don't use the merchant at all and not posting any trades I still lose 35 - 50 visits from my very active new NH.
Now, your suggestion to use the App - I am doing it now but this doesn't mean that I will get the visits back. If my neighbours aren't doing the same and just rely on Notification the chances to fall out from notifications' list are very very big. After all they are in the same active NH as I am, right?

I asked in our FS, if this was suggested so I logged in to forum so I can add my voice for this suggestion :)
please :)
in browser, 6 notification on 10 pages in higher chapters is way too low, and if someone is making a lot of trades, it's just not enough to follows who's worth of giving NH.

Notifications is just a short term list of recent activity.
When there's a lot of activity, it just spins on.
Preserving a longer list of activity would eat up an enormous amount of disk space.
My map is huge - almost 700 provinces - and I visit them all every day whether they visit me or not.
I'm pretty sure some can't visit me because they are on my map edge and they are lower level enough where their map isn't big enough to reach me.
I'm sure not everyone visits me every day, but I get a lot of traffic and on a few occasions I've had my culture bonus in the 400's.
The app does make visits a lot easier and a whole lot faster but I do understand that not everyone can - or wants to - use the app and visiting using the browser is just plain painful and slow.
The browser needs a better way but I don't think modifying notifications is the fix for this.
If visits were quick and easy, you wouldn't have to pick and choose or evaluate who deserves a return visit - you could visit everyone and rake in the gold/supplies.
