I was just thinking how I had a much more cynical view, haha. Though... if the item comes up that you've been wanting for years, then 1200 diamonds is small price to pay.

For me, Mr Grumpy Cynic, I'm looking at them thinking - 270 diamonds instead of 300 for a blueprint doesn't send me clamouring to spend. Also, I look at 850 diamonds for an Arcane Ferris Wheel, thinking - Does that do it for anyone? I'm not asking that negatively, but I just wonder. It lasts 50 days and the prizes seem only marginally more exciting than the other Ferris Wheel. I have a spot in my city for a Ferris Wheel and enough Ferris Wheel Galores to last me into the next century. If I have an Arcane I will rotate it in, but only to mix up the look for a while.

The other one where I am wondering if it is more attractive for other players, is to be offered 15 KP along with the £10 worth of diamonds. Perhaps that's a draw for smaller players, etc, not sure.

...yes I would have paid much more for this - I know the values are not really interesting nowadays, but it was the best building in game in the end of 2016 (also the values were nerfed at some point)....but that wasn't the reason, why I bought it - I'm a collector and it's one of the few that I haven't had before...(ok actually I had it, but in the wrong world)...

...now I'm still missing that 16 buildings...a few of them I probably will never have...

My small city has several of the FA second place statues. Pity I can't pass one over. And my main city has the 1st place FA arch. It's a little ugly, but it has to stay around as a status symbol haha.

The one on the bottom right is the premium 10 day blueprint provider (whatever its name is.) Don't be tempted by this, if you were considering buying it as a collector. I made that mistake and after 10 days all its animation shuts down. That's one of my biggest bugbears with this game because it happens with a lot of premium buildings. I find it quite strange that as a company with such a focus on good artwork, Inno makes absolutely no provision for the fact that some people may be just trying to build a city that looks nice/unique/interesting.

I don't think I have any of the others. What is on the left, second up from the bottom? It looks like Woodelvenstock, but not quite.

Is that the ferris wheel that goes with one of the sets?

...my other worlds have them too, but in my main where I'm the archmage we do the FA just for fun and there are many FA guilds (so no chance to reach it) - we once got the second place but it was before those buildings came into the game...

Secondly, may I just point out how unfair the whole set up is as if you live in Germany or those in a close time zone, you can take full advantage ( if you are mad enough) but for people on the other side of the world, the majority will fall in the middle of the night!!

Yes exactly. In Inno terms Black Friday is an excuse to try and persuade people to buy things for exorbitant prices! Sometimes they will tell you there is a discount, but pretty much everything they sell reports a discount which is often made up. We had this conversation before and apparently Germany doesn't have such strict rules as everyone else when it comes to misleading customers.

Tower of the Winter King. I spent 1200 diamonds to get this in Winyandor city and don't regret it. I already have a few other 'white/shiny' buildings here and it looks amazing. Far too many 'dark' buildings in the game make your city pretty dull. More of those Yellow 'Aureate Willows' would be nice. Mine are getting a little old, Chapter wise and some have already been removed.

I consider the Blueprint discount to be worth it since I still need a few Artefacts in the MA. For Magic Residences / Workshops though I would not bother.

As for the rest, not spending real £ for stuff I don't need. If your active enough in game then progression and acquisition of most of the bits on offer should come in time.

If I look at the first post in this thread, seems like the various servers had different offers, as I had other offers. I still remember the Winter Market set. It was before the time we could upgrade or teleport it, so the bits I had was sold. Gave some very good t3 in the dwarven chapter.
