Pauly, do you use your kps on your own AWs in preference to other people's AWs or the Research menu? I'm interested because I only use kps on my own AWs when there's nothing else to do with them.

I use KPs in the research tree whenever there is cause to do so. This doesn't have very much impact on the amount collected. Most others would be donated to others in swap systems, along with rune shards. Donating rune shards allows you to get rid of those that are of no interest to you whilst filling your AWs essentially for free.
But KP no longer matters. The limiting factors for me for upgrading Ancient Wonders are 1) Royal Restorations 2) Spell fragments 3) Combining Catalysts. KP is a very very distant fourth so it almost doesn't matter as a commodity anymore. Right now I have thousands of KP in my KP bar and thousands of KP in instants, but I am not upgrading any more AWs until I have collected at least another 500 RRs. This is why I hate their decision so much to make AW upgrades reliant on RRs.

Thanks Pauly7. I never seem to have a lot of kps of any type, and I struggle with cc.s and RRs too. At least you have one less item to bother about! Like most fs, we do rune swaps and kp swap systems.

I'm not even sure where they come from, outside 15 chest tournaments. Sort of around the place. I'm stuck on Needles 16, because I spent a few.

Yes, and before I got the Unicorn Park AW I also bought Spell Fragments
When you sell certain expiring buildings you can also get them, like Dwarven Armorer, Genie, Ferris Wheel, Carting Library, Trading Station.
It seems like the buildings you buy with those discs with the blue dot that I never remember the name of also gives RRs when you sell them.
You can also get them from the Oracle AW when you unlock that one.
Also, some evolving event buildings can have a certain chance of generating one, like Ceremonial Pools.
When it comes to Ancient Wonders, there's also Ancient Knowledge Points (AKP).
When you donate to someone else's AW you can see a coloured chest next to your name if you're high enough up the donation leadership board.
Gold gives 3x20 AKP + 1x5 AKP, Silver 2x 20AKP + 1x5 AKP, Green gives 1x 20AKP + 1x 5AKP and Gray gives 2x 5AKP.
You can also get AKP from events, evolving event buildings and tournaments.
Main sources of Knowledge Points (KP) would be tournaments, events and evolving event buildings as well as Tome of Secrets.
Adding a single building which gives 3kp/day is almost a 13% increase in your daily passive KP creation (3/24=12.5).

I must get back to that, but pretty much every blueprint goes on Fire Phoenix . I also craft the 20 point things.

I get RRs at the end of either the Spire or Tournaments, I can't remember which. I used to anyway. This may have been stopped.
