Auto fight troop confirmation

I noticed today that auto fighting seemed to go faster than i thought it did, then i noticed that they no longer ask you to confirm your troop selection (one less click, also no longer have to move mouse)
So i was wondering if this was announced somewhere and i missed it?
or am i imagining having to confirm troop selection?

You are not imagining it, I noticed a difference in auto fighting today as well....I remember usually clicking twice but now only 1 click....and I saw no announcement

I really love this change, but also have to agree with Timneh that the communication was ... not the best.

To our information it would have been part of version 1.80, which is why it hadn't been announced yet. We would (of course) have announced it in the 1.80 release notes.
